Surbjit Kaur is currently the Deputy Scientific Coordinator for the DAPPLE Project and is also completing a PhD, entitled: Exposure Assessment of Street Canyon Intersection Users to Particulate Matter & Carbon Monoxide

She joined the Environmental Processes and Systems Research Group towards the end of 2002 after completing the MSc course in Environmental Technology, specialising in the Health Risk Assessment, Management and Policy option, at Imperial College London and examined the exposure of pregnant water to tap water related activities in her dissertation

Her PhD research, is concerned with human exposure to carbon monoxide and fine particulate matter in order to quantify the determinants of human exposure to air pollution in an urban environment as pollution sources and people move together daily through the urban environment on different modes of transports at different timings.
